New Influences (May 2019)

Letting go of the old to allow for the new is the general theme for this month, and with that will come a fresh start possibly in more than one area of our lives as new influences arrive. Relationships may reach a crossroads at this time, and some individuals will be making one of the most important decisions of their lives. Events that occur now will be life changing for some, while others will be encouraged to build on what they have but only after they have removed whatever is standing in the way of positive progress being made. Truths will be spoken as secrets come to light and some individuals will have the stark realisation that a close relationship may never be the same again.

As new influences enter our lives now, we may find that we have more support than we realised, even from those we may have thought were against us. Unexpected news and surprises come from old acquaintances. Joy can be found by the renewal of an old friendship. Community spirit will be strong now, and so this is a great time to join groups or to team up with others on the same wave length. Significant discoveries await us all the while we are willing to be open to new experiences. Those who are generally wary of trying anything new, preferring to remain with the tried and trusted, may feel more inclined to step out of their comfort zone. This can be a time of great transformation in areas of life that has become too stale and predictable.

We may need to be prepared to give more time to family. Some individuals may actually feel burdened by the additional responsibility that comes their way but the key to dealing with it is to keep a positive frame of mind. A male relative or close male friend may be quick to make assumptions and also attempt to make a decision based on those assumptions if allowed to. If something doesn’t feel right then it will be important to speak up rather than to allow a situation to get out of hand or to be lumbered with what isn’t wanted.

This is a time to act rather than to rest. Projects will be brought to completion and the rewards for effort will follow soon after. While the reward might simply be praise for a job well done from a superior, some may receive a financial reward.

We all at times make excuses and hold ourselves back in life, and this in particular often occurs when we are fearful of failure. We all want to be successful whether that be within our relationships or in our endeavours, but it is only those who put the effort into it that have the greatest chance of succeeding. We get back what we put out there, so if we choose to do nothing, then that is precisely what we get.

The message for May is to decide what you want and start to create it. This isn’t a time to be afraid of the unknown but rather it is a time to push any fear aside. Believe in your SELF and you will surprise yourself with all that you achieve.
